Melancholia
Melancholia
Sudden rise and fall in light
I never saw it coming through
it just happened so I might
can’t see it other than an excuse.
The flames are not firing up
no matter how I strive
the blackness has seized me
shall I give it again as an excuse?
It has become cozy, just as foreseen
Drifting along lacking any cultivations
Time had been a treasure for me
I am squandering it like a cheap tissue.
Melancholy has become my home
No intentions of escaping
Still unable to light the flame
But faint hope alone lingering.
